A consultative workshop of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, together with the National component of the Prespa Project and the company commissioned to develop the study for revalorization of Ezerani Strict Nature Reserve, was held on 21 April 2009 in Skopje.

The national component of the Transboundary Prespa project works on a study for revalorization and re-establishment of the reserve boundaries along with an analysis of the possible changes of the category of protection, with an ultimate objective to make Ezerani a fully functional protected area. This meeting is part of the regular consultative meetings held between parties working on the Ezerani study.

The company which is developing the study, together with UNDP and the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, are working together and with the people of Ezarani towards this goal.
