The National Compoenent of the UNDP GEF Prespa project ' Integrated Ecosystem Management in the Prespa Lakes Basin of Albania, FYR Macedonia and Greece' is seeking proposals from the civil society organisations to support the environmental activities they are performing in Prespa area, related to the integrated management of the ecosystem. The eligible domains for the applications are:

·            Improvement of the agriculture practices and/or livestock;

·            Demonstration actions aiming at remedy and improvement of the forest resources management;

·            Improvement of water use and water resource management;

·            Improvement of the fishery sector, its management and administration;

·            Improvement of environmental attitudes (information, communication, awareness);

·            Protection of nature resources and their maintenance;

·            Environmental education and knowledge.

Civil society organisations from Prespa region are encouraged to apply, but under no circumstances, associations from Korça district or other municipalities will be excluded.

The financial support for each project is max. 2500 USD.
